If we approach the user experience as a metric, in which "good" or "bad" have real measurable impact on our organization's success, we should be able to isolate and understand how our services affect that metric. This relies on our ability to deconstruct the pain-points of a service as well as match its various features to user satisfaction. Deep Service Design introduces methods for visualizing and understanding these systems.
