D06: Mapping Students Movements at a Medium Liberal Arts College Consortium

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Measuring students' experiences with qualitative data provides personal opinions, feedback and individual perspectives regarding activities but is not directly measureable. Quantitative data provides a numerical count of what activities students engage in and therefore can be measured. We will discuss how to transform the qualitative data into maps and data visualizations. Brief breakout sessions will allow participants to contemplate applying the ethnographic, GIS, and data visualization methods.
